These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Short Pitcher, including browsing the directory, creating an account, submitting a startup profile, and interacting with public startup pages. Last updated: October 23, 2026.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Short Pitcher, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to any related policies that apply to the service, including the Privacy notice and the Startup Policies. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Short Pitcher provides
Short Pitcher is a founder-submitted startup directory. The service lets users publish concise public startup profiles that may include a startup name, logo, description, website, location, founders, and other profile details. Short Pitcher may change, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
Eligibility and accounts
You may use Short Pitcher only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and are authorized to represent any startup profile you submit or manage. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or managing a startup profile.
- Use only an email address or sign-in method that you control and are authorized to use.
- Do not share your account, impersonate another person or business, or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
Startup submissions and user content
You retain responsibility for the content you submit, including startup names, logos, descriptions, websites, founder information, and any other material made available through the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit that content and to make it publicly available through Short Pitcher.
- Your content must be accurate, non-misleading, and relevant to the startup it describes.
- You must not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or spam-related content.
- You grant Short Pitcher a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute submitted content as needed to operate, promote, moderate, and improve the directory.
Directory listings and public information
Startup pages and directory listings are public. Visitors may view, share, and click through to startup websites. Short Pitcher does not guarantee any particular visibility, ranking, referral volume, traffic, leads, sales, or business outcome from a listing.
Moderation and enforcement
Short Pitcher may review, edit for presentation or safety, reject, restrict, suspend, or remove any account, startup profile, or submitted content at its discretion. This may happen when content appears inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, infringing, unsafe, spam-related, or inconsistent with these terms, the Startup Policies, or the service's intended use.
Intellectual property
The Short Pitcher service, branding, design, software, and site content other than user-submitted startup material are owned by or licensed to Myelin Sheath (OPC) Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by law or by written permission, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service.
Third-party services and links
Short Pitcher may rely on or link to third-party services, including hosting, authentication, analytics, advertising, and external startup websites. Those third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Short Pitcher is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or conduct.
